My name is Marisol, I am a fashion designer and at 4’ 11” I know first hand how frustrating shopping can and finding clothes that fit my petite proportions has always been a struggle. Lucky for me, my mom and grandmothers introduced me to sewing at a very young age and I was making my own clothes by the time I was a teenager.
After studying Clothing and Arts Design at a Vocational High School, I began to build my wardrobe with unique pieces that fit my petite proportions perfectly! After years of continuing to learn new skills and solving my own fitting issues, I realized that I wanted to help other women do the same.
That is why I started sharing sewing tips, tutorials, and behind the scenes videos on my YouTube channel. I also began offering sewn items and one-of-a-kind pieces on my website for all of my non-sewing friends---and soon I will have a sewing pattern collection available for all of my petite sewing friends!
